Sealers and topcoats

The varnish is intended for the finishing coat of elastic polyurethane and epoxy coatings: its film elongates by at least 60 % with a Shore D hardness of 35–45. It increases the chemical and wear resistance of the floor and sets a gloss of 70–75 %. According to the technical data sheet, the varnish is used in sports halls, at stadiums and outdoor sports grounds, in industrial premises with vibration and impact loads, in medical institutions and on the floors of mobile units.

Application methodTopcoat for elastic polyurethane and epoxy coatings (higher chemical and wear resistance, change of gloss); substrate – elastic PU and epoxy coatings; on porous surfaces – only over primer until the pores are closed. “Velour-Wool” roller (5 mm nap), brushes at abutments; 2 coats, rolling in two mutually perpendicular directions. Relative air humidity not more than 80%; 3°C above the dew point; no draughts and no surface temperature difference of more than 3°C during application and for a day afterwards; air conditioning, ventilation and floor heating switched off.
