Protekron — two-component zinc-rich epoxy primer
A two-component sacrificial primer: the base is a suspension of zinc in an epoxy resin solution with anticorrosive additives, the hardener is a modified amine. Protekron protects steel structures in the atmosphere and at elevated humidity — as the primer of a complex system under the enamel “Kronos-Deko” or the waterproofing sealant “KronFlex”, or as a stand-alone coating. The film is resistant to organic solvents, oils, petroleum products and salt solutions, and the non-volatile matter by weight is more than 90 %.
