Pirilax-Terma is intended for timber baths and saunas, and the fire protection life depends on the zone: in changing rooms and rest rooms at least 16 years, in steam rooms and washing rooms at least 6 years, outdoors at least 5 years. Treated softwood can be used at temperatures up to +110 °C, hardwood up to +50 °C; the compound itself is safe when heated up to +120 °C. The impregnation provides fire protection performance groups I and II, tints the wood an amber shade and is applied by brush, spray or dipping.
