AKRUS R (E) (fire protection material): epoxy compound for steel
Two-component epoxy intumescent compound for steel structures outdoors; a version for hydrocarbon fire is available.

AKRUS TM is not a standalone fire protection: it is a heat-insulating layer that works as part of structural systems, including AKRUS Konstruktiv GR. In such systems it helps provide steel structures with fire protection performance groups 1–3. In composition, it is a one-component suspension of pigments and fillers in a polymer solution in organic solvents. Available in grey, black and beige, packed in 16 kg, shelf life 12 months.
