AKRUS R (E) (fire protection material): epoxy compound for steel
Two-component epoxy intumescent compound for steel structures outdoors; a version for hydrocarbon fire is available.
The AKRUS® Epoksprime epoxy primer contains zinc compounds, gives a phosphating effect and is used instead of phosphating. It is suitable for steel, non-ferrous metals and alloys, including galvanised products, and is used on steel structures and bridges. Interoperational protection is at least 12 months, welding over the painted surface is permitted, and the coating dries quickly and is water- and salt-resistant.
