The cleaner makes it possible to chemically remove cement laitance and the weakened carbonated layer from a concrete floor before applying polymer coatings and impregnations, without grinding or shot blasting. The working solution is prepared from one part concentrate and three parts water; it is also used to clean rust off steel before anti-corrosion protection. Heavily trowelled concrete floors and toppings are treated with undiluted concentrate before grinding, left for 15–20 minutes and then ground; the cleaner is non-combustible, fire- and explosion-safe.
