KhS-059 Khimtek — primer based on a vinyl chloride copolymer with epoxy resin
Red-brown primer for railway wagons, tank cars, equipment and structures in acid, alkali, salt and aggressive gas media.

The two-component primer-enamel “PROTEKT-AKRIL” is cured with Desmodur N75 and permits both ambient and forced drying: a coat dries in 8 h at 20 °C, in 45 min at 60 °C and in 30 min at 80 °C. It is used on steel structures, external surfaces of tanks for storing and transporting petroleum products, lifting and handling equipment and containers. The stand-alone coating is applied in 2–3 coats; the colour is per the RAL colour card or the customer’s standard.
