NORT fire and bio-protection for attics and rafter structures

Fire protection of timber

Attics and rafters where, besides solid timber, there is glued laminated timber, LVL, OSB, fibreboard, chipboard and plywood are treated with NORT ready-to-use solution. Protection in unheated premises lasts at least 8 years; the fire protection performance groups are I and II. It is applied by brush or spray, and work is possible down to −25 °C; at least 2 h is allowed between coats, and full drying takes 24 h. The solution does not tint the wood and is supplied in 5.5 and 11 kg packs.
