OGNEZA-KT fire-protective compound (OGNEZA-KONSTRUKTIV structural fire protection system)
OGNEZA-KT does not intumesce on its own: it is a thermal insulation compound on an acrylic copolymer solution with low-thermal-conductivity fillers. It serves as the first layer of the OGNEZA-KONSTRUKTIV system: KT is applied over GF-021 or KhS-059 primer, with OGNEZA-UM intumescent paint on top. The material is not used separately. The system is certified for 90 and 120 minutes per GOST R 53295 and is intended for steel structures of buildings of fire resistance degree I and II. The compound can be applied from −10 °C.
