Wetisol S-CP — epoxy primer for polyurea

Wetisol S-CP is a two-component solvent-free epoxy compound with 100% non-volatile content. It is used as a primer on concrete, brick and cementitious substrates before spraying Wetisol Spray polyurea, and, mixed with quartz sand, as a filler for pores and minor irregularities. Adhesion to concrete exceeds 4.0 MPa, the coating is resistant to biogenic sulphuric acid and works from −40 to +60 °C. Polyurea can be sprayed over the primer no earlier than 12 h and no later than 36 h.

Basetwo-component solvent-free epoxy compound: component A — epoxy resin, component B — amine hardener; non-volatile content 100%
Colourcolourless (comp. A — colourless liquid, comp. B — light yellow liquid)
Packagingkit A+B 10 kg and 20 kg (in two containers)
Application methodprimer for coatings based on polycarbamides (polyureas) WETISOL Spray, and a filler compound when mixed with quartz sand, on concrete, brick, cement; substrate dense and even, tensile strength at least 1.5 MPa, moisture max 5.0 wt. %; mechanical cleaning (shot blasting, milling, grinding) until laitance, dirt, oil and old coatings are completely removed; mix comp. A with a low-speed mixer (up to 500 rpm), pour in comp. B in a stream while the paddle is rotating, mix for 2–3 min, transfer to a clean container and mix again for 2–3 min (no more than 5 min in total, heating up is not permitted); ratio A:B = 1.92:1 by weight; apply with a velour (not foam) roller, brush or air spray in 2 or more coats until the pores are filled (surface gloss); filler: S-CP : calcined quartz sand (0.3–3.0 mm) = 1:1–2, then thick 1:3–4 by weight, for vertical surfaces and ceilings — LEVL Coat 071 Tixo thixotropic additive; tools — organic solvents (solvent naphtha, xylene, acetone, 646) before curing
Application temperatureair and substrate +10…+30 °C; relative air humidity max 80%; 3 °C above the dew point
Curingpot life: 50 min at +10 °C, 30 min at +20 °C, 15 min at +30 °C; foot traffic after 24 / 12 / 8 h, light load after 5 / 3 / 2 days, full load after 8 / 6 / 4 days (at +10 / +20 / +30 °C); overcoating with WETISOL Spray 400 and Spray 400 UV at +10…+30 °C no earlier than 12 h and no later than 36 h
