Concrete impregnations and hardeners

For freshly placed concrete, the silicate concentrate with 30 % active content is diluted with water at 1:2 and sprayed ahead of the power trowel, after which it is trowelled into the surface. The manufacturer positions it as a modern alternative to dry-shake hardeners. The impregnation gives up to 30 minutes of extra trowelling time and reduces moisture evaporation (ASTM F1869). Work is carried out at +4…+35 °C.
