Polyurethane floors

Lightfastness is the key property of this floor: based on UV-resistant polymers, it does not yellow or fade even in rooms with panoramic windows, stained glass and UV lamps. The gloss coating can be decorated with flakes or chips; it is wear- and impact-resistant, has no pungent odour and withstands water, petrol, alkali and acids for at least 72 h. The substrate is primed with PS-Grunt or, if the concrete is weak, with Proteksil-2MS; the service life is more than 5 years.

Pouring, notched trowel/squeegee/steel trowel, rolling with a spiked roller; mixing, application and rolling — within 30–40 min at 20 °C; recoat interval not more than 48 h; dry quartz sand may be added; pot life at least 1.0 h.
