Izhora DM-65 bitumen-latex emulsion — sprayed waterproofing for bridges
Sprayed bitumen-latex membrane for bridge decks, tunnels and flyovers; heat resistance of 260 °C allows poured asphalt to be laid on top.

Izhora MBP-G/Shm-75 joint mastic is a hot bitumen-polymer compound for road pavements: it is poured into joints and cracks, and into junctions of the pavement with tram rails and barrier structures. Cracks are first routed with a milling cutter, cleaned, dried and primed, then the mastic, heated in a kettle with indirect heating, is poured with a joint-filling machine or pouring can. Surface waterproofing is also permitted — by brush or by pouring and spreading with a rubber squeegee. Elasticity at +25 °C is 90 %, the softening point is 90 °C, and the material is not intended for expansion joints.
| Manufacturer | Rastro (LAKHTA, SLAVYANKA, Izhora) — ZAO “Rastro” |
|---|---|
| Type | joint sealants |
| Use | joints and junctions |
| Base | one-component hot-applied bitumen-polymer mastic (bitumen, plasticisers, filler, polymer additives) |
| Colour | black |
| Packaging | 24 kg cardboard drums with polyethylene film or 25 kg cardboard boxes with release film |
| Application method | remove loose pieces and, if necessary, old sealant; rout cracks with a milling cutter to a filling width of 8…40 mm; clean with a disc brush and compressed air, dry, at low temperatures (down to −10 °C) heat with a torch; prime (Izhora NP-02 recommended); heat in automatic kettles with indirect heating and agitation (direct heating is prohibited); pour only onto dry primed surfaces with a joint-filling machine or pouring cans to a level 3–5 mm below the pavement; for waterproofing — by brush or by pouring and spreading with a rubber squeegee |
| Application temperature | air not lower than −10 °C |
| Curing | traffic is opened after the mastic has cooled to air temperature and no longer sticks to wheels |
| Key properties | softening point (ring and ball) 90 °C; needle penetration at +25 °C 40 (0.1 mm); ductility at +25 °C 70 cm; elasticity at +25 °C 90 %; bond strength to concrete 0.7 MPa, to steel 1.2 MPa; flexibility on a Ø10 mm rod at −15±1 °C — no cracks; water absorption over 24 h 0.2 %; water-tightness at 0.03 MPa for 10 min — no wet spot; chemical resistance (3 % salt, 3 % NaOH) — resistant; density 1.15 kg/dm3; all climatic zones; not for expansion joints |
| Consumption | 2.1 kg/linear m per 30 × 60 mm joint; 2.3 kg/m² for surface waterproofing with a 2 mm coat |
| Shelf life | 24 months from the date of manufacture |
| Standards | TU 5775-010-11149403-2004 |
