KhS-759 Khimtek enamel to GOST 23494-79 is applied over KhS-059 or KhS-010 primer and overcoated with KhS-724 varnish. It is intended for the external surfaces of freight wagons and tank cars, equipment, and metal and reinforced concrete structures in acid, alkali, salt and aggressive gas media. At 60 °C the coating withstands 25 % sulphuric and nitric acids and sodium hydroxide for 12 h, and hydrochloric acid for 8 h; in addition to white, grey shades, light blue, green, black and red-brown, other colours to RAL are available.
