Stabiterm-222 fire protection compound for steel structures (water-based)
Thick-film water-based compound for fire protection of steel structures with an R150 rating (group 1), packed in 16 or 20 kg.

This intumescent paint on a water-dispersion binder is supplied ready to apply and protects steel structures with fire protection performance group 2 (R120). Without a topcoat it serves inside buildings and under canopies; for open atmosphere it is overcoated with Stabiterm-007 enamel, and the optimum primer in this system is Stabiterm-022, with GF-021 also permitted. The paint is applied by airless spray, provided the air and the steel are warmed to at least +5 °C. The white colour can be tinted in pastel shades; containers are 20 kg plastic pails or metal cans.
