TERMOBARIER 2 epoxy fire protection compound
On open industrial sites, steel structures are protected with TERMOBARIER 2 epoxy compound. The two-component material with an amine hardener contains no solvent, is resistant to petroleum products and serves in the UKhL1 climate from −60 to +60 °C and at 100 % humidity, even without a finishing coat. Fire protection performance is from R15 to R90; the compound can be applied directly to steel without a primer, using airless piston units only. The kit consists of 20 kg of component A and 5 kg of component B in metal euro pails.
