TEKSOTERM polyacrylic fire-protective enamel for steel structures
TEKSOTERM intumescent enamel gives steel structures a fire protection performance from 15 minutes (group 7) to 120 minutes (group 2). It is produced water-based (applied from +5 to +35 °C) and solvent-based (from −15 to +35 °C) and is applied by brush, roller or airless spraying. A primer is mandatory and its compatibility is agreed with the manufacturer; galvanised steel is painted without a primer. In premises with humidity up to 80 % the enamel works without a finish coat, while in damp premises, under a canopy and in the open atmosphere, including industrial and marine, it is overcoated with a finish coat.
