Magnesite-based barite concrete is used as a radiation-shielding screed to ensure the radiation safety of premises; ShT-BARIT plaster is used together with it for walls and ceilings. Compressive strength is at least 20 MPa, flexural strength 7 MPa, bond strength to concrete 1 MPa, and the material is resistant to petrol and mineral oil. The mix is supplied together with the gauging liquid, combustibility class NG, foot traffic after 8–10 hours.
