BentIzol® GM geomembrane bonded to geotextile — composite membrane

Roll materials and membranes

In this version, the HDPE-GT or LLDPE-GT polyethylene geomembrane is bonded with an adhesive to geotextile on one or both sides, with the longitudinal edges left unbonded so that the sheets can be welded. The composite corresponds to geomembranes of types 5/1 and 5/2, retains chemical resistance at pH 0.5–14, is resistant to ultraviolet radiation and works from −60 to +60 °C. Service life is at least 50 years; applications are MSW landfills, tailings storage facilities, oil and gas facilities, canals, reservoirs and dams.
