Defender CS (AK-123) fire protection cable coating

Fire protection of cable lines

Power and control cables, as well as communication cables with PVC, rubber or metal sheathing, are coated with Defender CS. It is a thin-film material on an organic binder; it can be applied and transported at temperatures from −25 to +35 °C. In premises without an aggressive environment the coating is used on its own. If the environment is slightly or moderately aggressive, and also outdoors and under a canopy in any climate, it is covered with a topcoat whose grade is agreed with the manufacturer.
