Fire protection of steel structures

Joker KP belongs to structural fire protection but, unlike mineral plasters, is polymer-based: it is a thick-film sprayable two-component material. It consists of a base (fillers and fire retardants in a binder) and a hardener and is applied by airless spray, brush or roller at temperatures from −5 to +40 °C. Per GOST R 53295-2009 it belongs to fire protection performance group 1. It is used in industrial and civil construction — in enclosed premises and under atmospheric exposure.
