FIRECUP 4 fire-retardant paint for cable lines
Water-dispersion intumescent paint that prevents flame spread along the sheaths of single cables and cable bundles.

Timber structures, chipboard and fibreboard in residential, public and industrial buildings are protected against fire with FIRECUP 3, which provides fire protection performance group 1. When heated, the white water-dispersion coating intumesces and forms a char crust that separates the timber from the flame. The paint is not suitable for floors, stairs and other surfaces under intensive mechanical stress. It is applied at +5…+40 °C and used from −35 to +50 °C, with a service life of at least 10 years.
