YARFAST®-0793 chemical-resistant primer-enamel — two-component, for chemical plants
Two-component chemical-resistant primer-enamel for equipment, structures and pipelines in the atmosphere of chemical plants.
The one-pack air-drying enamel KO-198 Khimtek on an organosilicon varnish is applied without prior priming in 2–3 coats and forms a stand-alone coating. It is used on steel structures exposed to sulphuric acid, nitric and hydrochloric acid vapours, mineralised groundwater and sea water, on foundations of reinforced concrete overhead contact line supports and in tropical climates. Heat resistance is from −60 to +300 °C; the enamel dries to degree 3 in no more than 20 min at 20 °C.
