YARFAST® anticorrosion alkyd-urethane primer — primer under YARFAST® enamel
One-component alkyd-urethane primer for steel structures and equipment: one coat under YARFAST® enamel or two coats on its own.
The binder of the Zn-YARFAST®-0565 primer is a modified epoxy resin: zinc powder in its solution is supplied as a base, to which the Zn-YARFAST® hardener is added in a ratio of 100:5.9. The primer is intended for steel structures and is used on its own or in coating systems. Before application the mixture is left to stand for 30 min, and it can be worked with for 12 h. The resistance of the coating to water, 3 % NaCl and petrol at 20 °C is at least 72 h.
