KL-2 fire-protective coating for polymers and composites (KrilaK)
Solvent-borne fire-protective coating for products made of PVC, PE, carbon fibre and fibreglass plastics; fire hazard class KM1.
Where cable lines are exposed to precipitation or 100 % humidity, KL-1V is used. The base is gas- and foam-forming fillers in an aqueous polymer solution; the coating is resistant to aggressive environments and ionising radiation, which is why it is in demand at nuclear power plants, chemical plants and in the fuel and energy sector. The fire hazard ratings are RP1, D1, V1, T1. The service temperature range is from −50 to +60 °C, and the service life is at least 15 years.
