Fire protection of timber

When timber needs to be protected against fire without hiding its grain, the clear Latik system is used. It consists of a fire-retardant varnish on water-soluble resins and Zashchita protective-decorative varnish. It is suitable for load-bearing structures and decorative and finishing timber elements indoors, including at humidity up to 100 %. Fire protection performance is group I, class KM1; the service life is at least 20 years.
