PLAZAS is a mastic on a silicate binder with mineral fillers, supplied ready to use. It is used to bond basalt materials in all ET systems — on steel structures, air ducts and timber. The compound withstands freeze-thaw cycles, does not expand when heated and belongs to combustibility group NG; it dries in 12 h at 20 °C. Packaging: 15 kg pail and 45 kg drum; for ships, a PLAZAS version with a range from −70 to +800 °C is produced.
