MBOR basalt fire protection roll material (uncoated, MBOR-5…MBOR-26)
MBOR is a mat of superfine basalt fibres, stitch-bonded and containing no binder. The material is non-combustible and withstands prolonged heating up to 700 °C and short-term heating up to 1250 °C. For fire protection of air ducts and steel structures it is used as part of the ET systems. It is supplied in rolls 1500 mm wide in orange film; it should be stored in a dry room with the rolls laid horizontally.
