Polyurethane-cement floors

This thixotropic compound is intended for shaped elements and vertical surfaces: it is used to form sanitary coved skirtings in polyurethane-cement floor systems. It is spread with a shaped skirting trowel onto the tacky, not yet cured layer of Elakor-PTs Grunt 30–60 minutes after priming at +20 °C, then rolled with a roller or smoothed with a trowel. Compressive strength is 56 MPa, flexural strength 20 MPa, service temperature from −30 to +70 °C.

Application methodApplied onto a polyurethane-cement coating (concrete, concrete and sand-concrete screeds); anchor grooves of 6-10 mm in the horizontal plane. Primer Elakor-PTs Grunt applied with a narrow roller or brush; apply onto the tacky (not cured) primer after 30-60 min at +20°C. Spread with a shaped skirting trowel, roll with a roller or smooth with a trowel. Relative air humidity and dew point are not limited.
