Sealers and topcoats

This water-based varnish has no solvent odour and gives a matt surface with a gloss of 10–15 %. It is applied as a face coat over old and new epoxy and polyurethane coatings and self-levelling floors, over decorative floors with glitter, flakes and chips, and over parquet and wood. Usually two coats are applied, with a third for stronger protection; film tensile strength is at least 32 MPa, Taber abrasion 9 mg, fire hazard class KM1.

Application methodFinishing face coat over epoxy and polyurethane coatings and self-levelling floors (old and new), over decorative coatings with glitter, flakes, chips; varnish for parquet and wood. On concrete, wood and other porous surfaces – only over primer until the pores are closed. Concrete not lower than M200, cured for at least 28 days, waterproofing against groundwater. “Velour-Wool” roller (5 mm nap), brushes at abutments; 2 coats (a 3rd coat may be added for stronger protection), rolling in two mutually perpendicular directions. Relative air humidity not more than 80%; 3°C above the dew point.
