Waterstops and swelling profiles

The finishing waterstops FM-140/50 and FMR-140/50 sit in the concrete mass so that after pouring the joint is accessible for visual inspection and, if necessary, for repair. The U-shaped strips of plasticised PVC are installed directly on the expansion joint filler. FM-140/50 is mounted in the reinforcement cage and formwork in new construction, while FMR-140/50 has one edge without anchor ribs: it is fixed with anchors to existing structures, and the fixing point is sealed with TECHNONICOL swelling sealant. Tensile strength at break is 10 MPa, elongation is 300%, service temperatures are from −40 to +70 °C.
