BENTINJEKT® is a dry mix of natural sodium bentonite with a montmorillonite content of more than 90 % and functional additives; after mixing with water it turns into a mobile gel-like grout that is ready for pumping immediately. The grout is pumped into the space behind the structure from inside or outside; after 8–10 h it self-compacts and thickens, and within 24 h it turns into a dense gel that does not dry out in the soil and tolerates freezing and thawing. This is how the waterproofing of foundations, basements, tanks, car parks, tunnels and collector tunnels is restored.
