Stabiterm-021 fire-stop block
Intumescent polyurethane foam block for fire protection of cable penetrations, metal pipe penetrations, openings and joints.

Unlike paints and mastics, Stabiterm-300 is a dry installation material: a flexible composite mesh that intumesces when heated. It is fixed to the cable route with mounting clips or galvanised binding wire, without special equipment or wet processes, at +5 °C and warmer. The mesh does not obstruct access to the cables: they can be replaced and new ones pulled through without damaging the protection, and the derating factor for the continuous permissible current exceeds 0.98. Service life is 40 years; the roll is 1 m wide and 20 m long.
