Fire protection of steel structures

The water-based VD modification of BOKA KINZOKI-M paint is made in Ulyanovsk and contains no organic solvents: it is based on acrylic copolymers, fire retardants, pigments and fillers. The coating protects steel structures indoors with ratings from R15 to R120; for outdoor atmosphere and aggressive environments, protective decorative paints are applied on top. The paint is applied by brush, roller or spray gun over primed steel at +5…+35 °C. It withstands up to four freeze cycles, but it may only be thawed naturally: forced heating destroys its fire protection properties.
