TEKSOTERM polyacrylic fire-protective enamel for reinforced concrete structures
The fire resistance of reinforced concrete structures can be raised to REI 60, REI 90 or REI 150 with Teksoterm ZhBI enamel; these ratings are stated for the water-based enamel. It is a one-component intumescent polyacrylic coating with a high solids content, used at residential, civil and industrial facilities, in tunnel structures and ventilation shafts. Before painting, concrete is treated with an acrylic water-based deep-penetrating consolidating primer, and exposed reinforcement with an anti-corrosion primer. The water-based enamel is applied from +5 to +35 °C, the solvent-based one from −15 to +35 °C.
