BentIzol® 3-D drainage mat — geocomposite with geotextile on both sides

In the 3-D mat, a three-dimensional geonet of virgin polyethylene is covered with nonwoven geotextile or geofabric on both sides. Depending on the geotextile chosen, the in-plane permeability coefficient at 2 kPa is at least 150–550 m/day, and the longitudinal tensile strength at least 20–60 kN/m. The mat works as a protective drainage layer in trench, blanket and gas drainage, in draining water from underground parts of buildings, tunnels and roads, at landfills and on slopes; operating range from −60 to +60 °C.
