Fire protection of steel structures

DEKOTERM-KOP combines two fire protection mechanisms — thermal insulating and intumescent — in a single-component water-based compound. It is applied by airless spray, with brush and roller acceptable on individual areas; work is carried out from +5 °C. Fire resistance of steel structures is up to 150 minutes, and the EAEU certificate covers R90 and R120; under SP 2.13130.2020 the compound is permitted as a structural solution in buildings of fire resistance degree I and II, with conditions of use clarified on request. A finish coat is required in the open atmosphere and aggressive environments.
