Fire protection of steel structures

DEKOTERM-TIR works in tandem with intumescent paints: it is the thermal insulating layer of the DEKOTERM-KOP-R and DEKOTERM-KOP-KHROM-R systems for steel structures. The compound is based on an organic solvent and is white; it is applied at −20…+40 °C and humidity up to 80%. It is supplied in 20 l metal containers (18 kg net), and the shelf life is 1 year. No fire resistance rating of its own is declared for the material.
