Fire protection of steel structures

DEKOTERM-KOP-R is not a single compound but a system of two solvent-based materials: the thermal insulating DEKOTERM-TIR and the fire protection paint DEKOTERM-R. It is designed for winter work at temperatures down to −20 °C; at such frost, drying between coats takes 24 h. Fire resistance of steel structures is up to 150 minutes, with EAEU certificates for R90, R120 and R150. In the open atmosphere and moderately aggressive environments the system is covered with a finish coat; the service life is at least 25 years.
