Polyurethane floors

The thixotropic enamel is applied mainly by airless spraying without thinner, and additionally by roller, brush or air spraying. It forms a weather-resistant and lightfast protective coat with a gloss of 94–98 % on metal, concrete and wood primed with Elakor primers, as well as over polymer and fire-retardant coatings. Lightfastness per ISO 9370-2017 is 7 (“excellent”), service temperature from −60 to +60 °C; the colour is tinted to RAL or matched to the customer’s sample.

Application methodWeather-resistant UV-resistant protective coats on any building materials (metal, concrete and other mineral substrates, wood) primed with Elakor polyurethane or epoxy primers, over Elakor PU/epoxy coatings and over fire-retardant coatings. After mixing, standing time 15-20 min. Main method – airless spraying (without thinner); additionally rollers, brushes, air spraying (5-10% xylene or butyl acetate). Relative air humidity not more than 80%; 3°C above the dew point; surface dry.
