Sealers and topcoats

The matt modification of the elastic varnish, with a gloss of 10–15 %, removes the shine from soft polymer coatings while keeping film elongation of at least 60 % and Shore D hardness of 35–45. It is applied in two coats with a velour roller at +5…+20 °C, without draughts and with floor heating, ventilation and air conditioning switched off. The varnish is suitable for sports halls, stadiums, outdoor sports grounds, floors with vibration loads, and also for ships and machinery.

Application methodTopcoat for elastic polyurethane and epoxy coatings (higher chemical and wear resistance, change of gloss); substrate – elastic PU and epoxy coatings; on porous surfaces – only over primer until the pores are closed. “Velour-Wool” roller (5 mm nap), brushes at abutments; 2 coats, rolling in two mutually perpendicular directions. Relative air humidity not more than 80%; 3°C above the dew point; no draughts and no surface temperature difference of more than 3°C during application and for a day afterwards; air conditioning, ventilation and floor heating switched off.
