KO-198 Khimtek — air-drying organosilicon enamel
Air-drying enamel for steel structures and overhead contact line supports in acid, mineralised and sea water environments, from −60 to +300 °C.

The epoxy primer EP-0199 Khimtek (TU 6-10-2084-86) with anticorrosive additives is cured with hardener No. 1 and applied over corroded metal with a layer of corrosion products. It is used in industrial atmospheres with aggressive gases and vapours, under short-term splashing with acids and alkalis, in shipbuilding and on railway machinery. It serves as a primer in coating systems with most solvent-borne enamels or as a stand-alone coating; the content of volatile organic compounds is less than 25 %.
