Gidrobeton KRIO-1 — grout for work at sub-zero temperatures
Rapid-hardening non-shrink mix for grouting columns, equipment and bridge bearings at air temperatures down to −10 °C.

Gidrobeton SRG-F2 combines quartz sand up to 0.63 mm, polypropylene fibre and compensated shrinkage. The mix is applied by hand to a moistened substrate or mechanically by dry-mix shotcreting. The manufacturer states a watertightness of 14 atmospheres, frost resistance of at least 300 cycles, compressive strength of 40 MPa, bond to concrete of 2.0 MPa and that ultraviolet does not affect the material.

|---|---|
| Type | thixotropic repair mortars |
| Use | tanks and treatment plants, floors |
| Base | shrinkage-compensated dry mix: cement, quartz sand (size up to 0.63 mm), a complex of chemically active admixtures, polypropylene fibre |
| Colour | grey (free-flowing grey powder) |
| Packaging | bags of (25±0.25) kg |
| Application method | the substrate must be clean and sound: remove plaster, paint, whitewash, loose and delaminated concrete down to “sound” concrete (with a rotary hammer), dust, dirt and oils; clean exposed rebar of concrete around its full circumference for 20 mm and of rust; saturate the surface with water, remove the excess with a rag; water 160–170 ml per 1 kg, mixing with a mixer or in a mortar mixer for 3–5 min; adding water is prohibited; applied with a trowel, spatula or mason’s trowel to a moistened surface; mechanically — by dry-mix shotcreting |
| Application temperature | surface not below +5 °C; mortar not below +5 °C (in cold weather — warm water not above +35 °C) |
| Curing | moist curing for 3 days: wet with water every 3–4 h starting immediately after setting; protect from direct sun, rapid drying, draughts, temperature fluctuations and rain; the screed can be walked on after 12–24 h |
