NEOFLAME 514 R fire protection paint

Fire protection of steel structures

The properties of the NEOFLAME 514 R coating are retained even when water-spray fire suppression systems are activated. The paint is a suspension of an organic polymer, fire retardants and fillers in an aromatic solvent and protects steel structures up to R120. Without a finishing coat it is used in premises with a non-aggressive environment and under a roofed canopy; in high humidity or in U2 conditions with type II atmosphere the coating is overcoated with an enamel, for example PF-115 or KhP-7120. It is applied with high-pressure piston units in several coats at temperatures down to −15 °C.
