OGNEBARIER MP fire collar (MP-16 … MP-160)
Plastic pipes made of PVC, PE and PP are protected with the OGNEBARIER MP collar, rated EI 180, where they pass through separating structures. Inside the split metal body, which is painted against corrosion, there is an intumescent material with an expansion ratio of at least 900 %: in a fire the collar activates by itself and closes the opening. Thanks to the petal lock it can be fitted both to new pipes and to pipes that are already installed; the internal diameter ranges from 16 to 160 mm. The collar operates at temperatures from −50 to +85 °C, with a service life of 30 years.
