OgneVent® fire protection compound for air ducts

Fire protection of air ducts

OgneVent forms a flexible, vibration-resistant coating, so it is suitable for air ducts that operate with vibration. It is based on an organic film-former with flame retardants and special additives, and the material is supplied ready to use. It is applied with plastering machines, by trowel or roller; each layer dries for no more than 12 h at 20 °C. The fire resistance rating of the air duct is EI30, and the coating is white.
