PVK-2002 has two roles. On its own, it is a fire protection coating for air ducts with an EI60 rating: the compound is applied by brush, trowel or plastering machine, and on primed air ducts with fibreglass mesh reinforcement. In its second role, it serves as the adhesive for basalt mats in the IZOVENT, IZOVENT-M, -P, -UP and -PZh systems. An anti-freeze additive is available for work in cold weather; the service life of the coating is at least 10 years.
