Sazilast 502 — low-modulus pourable polysulfide sealant
The low-modulus pourable Sazilast 502 is designed for moving joints without direct mechanical load: its elongation at break is at least 350%, and its modulus at 100% elongation is not more than 0.4 MPa. This two-component polysulfide compound is used in joints of bridges, tunnels and reinforced concrete structures; it is not used in pedestrian areas. The sealant withstands at least 30,000 cycles and long-term contact with groundwater, oils, fuel, acids and alkalis, but contact with drinking water is not permitted for it.
