Sazilast 503 — thixotropic polysulfide sealant of the 500 series
For vertical and inclined joints under direct mechanical load, the 500 series offers Sazilast 503 — a two-component polysulfide sealant of thixotropic consistency that does not run out of the joint. Its nominal tensile strength at break is at least 1.5 MPa, elongation is at least 300%, fatigue endurance is at least 20,000 cycles, and water absorption does not exceed 0.5% by mass. The sealant is resistant to long-term exposure to groundwater, oils, fuel, acids and alkalis; contact with drinking water is not permitted.
