Sazilast 52 — pourable thiokol sealant for horizontal joints
Unlike the thixotropic grades of the range, this two-component thiokol compound is a viscous flowable paste that spreads by itself and fills horizontal and hard-to-reach joints. Sazilast 52 is used on roofs, roads, bridges, in tunnels and reinforced concrete water conduits. After vulcanisation, the joint retains an elongation at break of at least 200% and works from −60 to +90 °C; the pot life of the mix is at least 3 h at 23 °C. Short-term contact with groundwater is permissible, while contact with drinking water is not allowed.
